Dress at Kittansett should always be appropriate for the occasion or activity. While golf dress has been relaxed at many other clubs, The Kittansett Club adheres to its traditional dress policy. Appropriate dress for guests, both on the course and in the clubhouse, is the responsibility of the hosting Member.
1.
Proper attire for men on the golf course or practice range includes slacks or Bermuda length shorts and a collared shirt that is tucked in.
2.
For women, suitable attire includes golf skirts, slacks, Bermuda or walking shorts. Sleeveless tops must have collars.
3.
T-shirts, jeans, blue denim, "cut-offs," running, tennis, gym or cargo shorts are not considered proper attire for either gender. Children are also expected to adhere to proper dress while on Club premises.
4. Gentlemen are expected to remove their hats upon entering the Clubhouse and tented outside deck areas. Any headwear should be in good taste and golf appropriate while at the Club and refrain from inappropriate logos or wording. Wearing baseball-style caps backwards is not acceptable in any Club area.
5.
Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times on the course and in the Clubhouse. If you have questions regarding your dress or footwear, please ask the golf staff or General Manager for clarification.
